Everyday we strive to take advantage of the blessings that surround us. We are Brad and Michelle and this is our story.
Growing up as a kid, I always dreamed of living on a farm. I would dream of owning a pet pig or riding on a horse. I loved it when I visited my Aunt Mary’s farm. There was just something about the peacefulness of being in the middle of no where with only the sounds of animals. Furthermore, my grandma grew up on a farm. We would have endless talks about farm chores, raising of animals and especially of chickens.
A few years ago, Hazel Green Farms was just a dream for us. We lived in the city and our neighborhood was falling apart. We so looked forward to the day we could be on a beautiful piece of land with just nature and corn stalks surrounding us. Consequently, it all started with the purchase of my first horse. Six months later we were the proud owners of three. As a result, we began our long search for the right piece of property. Finally in 2014 we found our dream home and land. Ten beautiful acres, a huge barn and a 100 year old farm house.
